They're on their way to Australia

 ...for a working vacation.  The next 5 months Clark and Rachel will be nursing at a hospital in South Wales and sight-seeing every other moment.  What an adventure!

But before they left we spent a really FUN day together.

Yep...those are 100 lbs.

We started the day at the gym...

while Rachel did one of her short runs...of 8 miles.

Clark has his own training methods.

Then we headed to Red Rock Canyon for a little hiking

...and a  lot of picture taking.

 

Our family is "special"!

For Dinner we did our customary "culinary adventure"
and went to our favorite Thai restaurant "Pin Kaow".
Clark and Rachel had never been there...so it was still an adventure for them.

Total destruction of a wonderful meal!

And dessert...Costco food court.

Love those ice cream bars

...and berry sundaes

Thank goodness we started our day at the gym :)
