Day 1 in Florida

I'm In Florida to meet my new grandbaby, Lucia. and help with the little busy person, Violet.
(Jeff holding little Lucia for the first time...making him alittle nervous.)
Today's method of helping was for all of us to go fishing and leave Janet and Lucia alone to enjoy some peace and quiet. It was beautiful on the Intercoastal waterway. I loved seeing all the dolphins, fish jumping in every directions and the pelicans diving and fishing. I'm sure they were catching more fish than we were.Of course we were listening to the Gator game. Does life get any better than this?
Once Violet tired of being on the boat, we went home to be with Lucia and Janet went out on the boat.
Then Violet went splashing in her little pool.

A wonderful way to celebrate the end of Summer

...with Karl's brother Clare and his family

at their little-get-away-from-the-city home in the little country town
of Paragonah, Utah.
Friday night at the Iron County Fair (Parowan, Utah)

Then Saturday was off to Provo

for the BYU vs. UW game!

Great Game!
Paul got us some amazing tickets!
(Paul's crazy hat which is blue with a Y on the other half got quite a few comments)

Clare and three grandsons walking to church.

After church Clare's oldest grandson, Ryan, opened his mission call.

First, Mikelle read everyone's predictions

You are called to serve in the ...
Tahiti, Papeete Mission

So where is Tahiti?

Lots of relaxin' and jammin'.

Clare's grandkids watching a movie in the tiny little "bunk house."

The sing-a-long and roasting s'mores.

Spencer demonstrating how eat s'mores while keeping warm.

(Emma swinging and me casting the great big shadow)
Nothing says lazy summer fun like a swing in the big tree out front.
It was a perfect way to wrap up summer.
Thanks Clare & Paul.
