Karl's first time running a race longer than a 5K
His first time running with his younger brother Paul.

Now Paul is a runner...a numerous marathon not-happy-if-I-can't-go-running runner.
Karl is a wannabe...maybe someday I'll do a half-marathon runner.
So Paul decided to give up a sure first-place run to run along with Karl.
At some points he would even run backwards coaching Karl as they ran.
9K = 5.6 miles
Finish Time: 53:39 minutes
Pace: 9:53 minutes mile
Two first place finishes in their respective age groups.
Ahhh....another first.
