As we were busy cleaning up leaves and branches we'd get within a few feet of him and expect him to ran off...but no... he'd just sit on the wall...in plain sight ...watching us. He never did scurry off.
Sunday we were enjoying the sunshine in the backyard and this guy was scooting around in the bark chips around the garden beds.
Today while I was watering the garden...he was back on the wall a few feet away watching me.
Strange behavior for a lizard. Does he trust us? Is he the same lizard we rescued out of Karl's coffee-brew roach traps last year? Hmmmm. Maybe it's still chilly enough that he's running alittle slow.
But for what ever reason we enjoy spotting him in the yard. But he better not trust the neighborhood cats or we'll be missing our backyard friend.
