Brrr...It's Cold Outside!

Crazy weather in Las Vegas...In less than a week we've gone from 108° to the 50's. Right now it is warmer in Dupont WA. and Edmonton, AB, Canada than it is here in Las Vegas. The good news is the weather brought rain...The first hard rain our we've seen for about a year.

How's your food storage?

I've been teaching food storage classes once a month at the Bosch Kitchen Store. So I decided I'd better practice what I preach and get our food storage stocked up. I'm a huge advocate of beans as the storage item of choice...so we've got beans!

Have you tried pinto bean fudge? Amazing

It's been a busy month but busy with fun times.
We got back from San Diego and Trace's wedding on Sunday night. Then Monday my mom flew in to spent the week with us. We had a great time D.I. shopping, sewing, going to the temple and visiting with my brother that lives on the other side of Vegas. One evening we took mom down to the Strip to the Belliago to see the flowers and the dancing water. There's a good story here...but we've been sworn to secrecy!

It was a beauiful day and beautiful event...in spite of the stress of getting all the boys, their wives and litttle Charlie flown into Las Vegas... a missed flight, change of plans, long car rides, a very tired yet sleepless baby, last minute changes and exhaustion. It came off beautifully...we couldn't have hoped for better. A special thanks to Clark and Rachel's wonderful bishop and his wife. Not only did he perform the ceremony, but they also hosted the wedding and reception in their beautiful yard. They both worked so hard to make sure every detail was beautiful.

We are so happy to finally have Rachel in the Tobler family (Clark seemed a little slow at finally asking her).
