A Day of Thanks

Thanksgiving Day
...the kitchen was a busy place.
 Lot of mixing
 And rolling
 And pinching
And shaping
We discovered a new way to seed pomegranates

Charlie was great keeping the littlest of people busy
... while we destroyed  Kimberly's kitchen.
 "Many hands make light work"
 Waiting!!!
Time to get the big bird roasting.
Greta may have eaten more than she chopped.
This kiddo loves veggies.
  The tables are ready.

 The food is cooked
What our buffet line lacked in presentation
It made up for in YUMMINESS!
 Load 'em up!

 Thanksgiving Dinner 2014.
Someone only got a spoon to chew on
while the rest of us enjoyed a feast
 And it was good!
 Once dinner had settled
the "Freeze Dance" Party started

Dancing and laughing
was a great way to make room for dessert.

Thanks Steph.

Zoo Play

Monday (November 24th) we headed to the zoo.
It's just 5 minutes from from Jake and Steph's house.
I saw a some of really crazy critters.
But more than to see the exotic animals we went to play on the playground.
The Nashville Zoo does have the most incredible playground I've seen.
5 minutes from home + incredible playground = reason for a year pass.
Duke and Steph started out on the huge playmat area.
Ethnie and I headed to the slides.
A couple of monkeys climbing up to the top.
Ethnie wasn't so sure she wanted to join gramma in the viper's mouth.
Duke didn't have any hesitation about venturing in.
The cutest little monkey in the zoo.
Want more body in your hair
...go down the slide.
There are four loops in this slide.
I was expecting to hear screams of terror but Ethnie shot out the end happy as can be.

The biggest Monkey in the zoo
Your guess...

Fun, Fun Time!!!
