Our time on the Plantation.

From Nashville we load up a mini-van (rental) and headed over the Smokey Mountains to Kyle's home in North Carolina for Thanksgiving.   What a beautiful drive!
What a perfect place to spend Thanksgiving.
We fondly call Kyle's new home "The Plantation"
[Karl flew in  and met us there]
There were fun cousins to play with.
A fun cat to chase...around and around and around.
Charlie had a fun uncle to do big kid stuff with.
There were fun stairs to climb on.

Cinnamon rolls were one of the first items on the itinerary to bake.
They definitely weren't my best.
...but  they still disappeared quickly.

Duke was fascinated by Kyle in his uniform.  He would just stare at Kyle and follow him around whenever he  was wearing it.  So funny.

Steph kept Charlie and Greta busy with several Thanksgiving projects.
 Place cards.
 The Gratitude Tree

Piano practicing is always more fun with Grampa Karl.

 Breakfast by Kyle.
 Jump Greta!
Grampa Karl was in his happy place.
Duke loved being out in the sun room which also doubled as the walk-in refrigerator
... it was quite chilly that weekend.
Don't Blink!  Cousin bonding.
Charlie was so good with the little people.
 Family.
We are so blessed!
