The day started with a ward pancake breakfast and swim at the Astle's.
Of course Karl, Jake and Jake's cell phone ended up in the pool.

Later I was a canning (finally the last of the apricots!)

That afternoon we went up to Mt. Charleston to check out a new trail.
It's quite a climbbut we are excited to try it again and make it to plateau and the valley overlook.
Then we ran to Fremont street 
...to see the lights
and the laser light show.
Karl liked watching the bands...
I liked watching the people...
I liked watching the people...
Lots of interesting people.
We ended the day with fireworks.
We didn't have time to BBQ any hamburgers...that's today.
