Happy 1st Anniversary Jake & Steph

A change

Just as I was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Just as I was seeing a break in my crazy busy schedule.
Just as I was seeing a chance dive into some projects I've wanted to do.
An opportunity to selfishly do my own thing.
... I've was called to be the Young Women's President.

Hmmm...
Deep breath...re-think..re-prioritize....Re-group...Re-organize.

It's taken me a bit to get organized...but I think we are off and running.

Change is good

Now I just have to figure out how to turn a few of my projects into
"Personal Progress" goals.

Chad and Janet left a few things behind

...when they left us to go back to Florida.

A new outdoor faucet that doesn't leak!


My mirror hung in the entry way.


A new light fixture in the entry way.

And a couple of lonely grandparents with nobody to play with.

Did I mention...

it's kind of warm here.

Occasionally he runs into something he doesn't know quite how to handle
But he always seems to dance his way around it.

We had a fun week with our Little Violet

Violet and parents are gone. The house is quiet now...too quiet. They left us a few messy corners and a lot of happy memories. Thanks for coming...it was so fun.

Happy Pre-4th of July!

Our star spangled day started with a 5:45 am run
...but then it got better.

The Ward Breakfast at the Astle's(the pool was bubbling with kids and crazy people so we avoided it)

Then off to the Summerlin Parade

...to see Jake and Steph at work. Yeah work...like getting paid to have fun!Steph was a pirate
...running, jumping and dancing in heels for the entire parade
...sooo Steph.

This is the ambulance that will haul Jake away after he collapses from heat stroke.Hope you are enjoying your Independence.
